Richt, 53K Per Week for This? Better Figure it Out”

Mark Richt on the Proverbial Hot Seat

Seth Emerson, UGA Blogger was driving home from the GA/FLA game and saw a sign on the side of a house that said, “Richt, 53K per week for this? Better figure it out.”  And, figure it out he better.  I’ve been a vocal Richt supporter but my patience is starting to wear very thin.

Here is the problem.  We all know Georgia is pretty good.  They are the best 4-5 team in the country for sure!  However, they are losing to teams that they are not any better than UGA.  Colorado has not won a game since beating UGA.

UGA will try to figure out a way to lose and seems to do everything wrong at the right time.  Whether it’s Mark Richt, Mike Bobo, or Aaron Murray, someone is not getting #8 the football.  How many times do you see AJ Green wide open but no delivery of the football.  Mark Richt said it himself, “When in doubt, get it to #8.” His name is AJ Green. 

After AJ served his four game suspension he had a little remorse about the outcome of this season.  He hinted that he might consider coming back for his senior season.  After the Florida game, can you blame AJ if he decides to skip his senior season and head to the NFL.  He was wide open but no football.  He can’t win the game if the ball is not in his hand.

Richt, you have three maybe four games left to figure it out.  When in doubt, get the ball to #8.  Murray, when in doubt, get the ball to #8.  Bobo, when in doubt, get the ball to #8.  Do you hear me clear enough?
